FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM EDT
FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...WYTHE COUNTY
 
AT 455 PM...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A BAND OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS SLOWLY MOVING NORTHWEST ACROSS WYTHE COUNTY. RADAR
RAINFALL ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE
POSSIBLE WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS. THESE STORMS ARE
MOVING ACROSS AREAS WHICH RECEIVED NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON PRODUCING UP TO AN INCH OF RAIN.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
