SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO
 
   ...CROWLEY COUNTY...NORTHERN OTERO COUNTY
 
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR OVER CROWLEY
COUNTY AND NORTHERN OTERO COUNTY. AT 700 PM THE STORM WAS LOCATED JUST
OVER FOWLER AND A WEATHER SPOTTER AT FOWLER REPORTED 3/4 INCH HAIL. THE
TOWNS OF OLNEY SPRINGS...FOWLER...MANZANOLA...CROWLEY...AND ORDWAY ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS THUNDERSTORM. PERSONS TRAVELING ALONG HIGHWAYS 50
AND 96 SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR HAIL...STRONG WINDS...AND PONDING OF
WATER.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...GO TO A STRONG BUILDING.
DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DO NOT USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL
APPLIANCES EXCEPT IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
DO NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
