THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN  NEW JERSEY
 
   ...MERCER COUNTY
 
AT 1125 PM EDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ENTERING WESTERN
MERCER COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND
WILL BE MOVING INTO THE REMAINDER OF MERCER COUNTY DURING THE NEXT
HALF HOUR.  WIND GUSTS TO 50 MILES AN HOUR HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN EWING
TOWNSHIP.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA...PREPARE
FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING.  SHOULD THE STORM APPROACH YOU...SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER
INDOORS...BUT DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  MOBILE HOMES ARE MOST
VULNERABLE TO HI<GH WINDS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
