THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A
SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 800 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN  PENNSYLVANIA

   ...BUCKS COUNTY

DOPPLER RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES INDICATED 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL
OVER 3 HOURS OR LESS ALONG THE UPPER NESHAMINY CREEK BEFORE MIDNIGHT.
A SPOTTER NEAR DOYLESTOWN REPORTED AROUND 5 INCHES AROUND THE SAME
TIME. THIS AMOUNT OF SHORT PERIOD RAINFALL WOULD HAVE ALREADY
CAUSED SOME POOR DRAINAGE AREA AND ROAD FLOODING BUT NOW POSES THE
THREAT OF FLOODING THE NESHAMINY CREEK AS RUNOFF CONTINUES. WITH THIS
AMOUNT OF RAINFALL THE GAGE AT LANGHORNE IS EXPECTED TO CREST AT BETWEEN
10 AND 11 FEET AFTER 7 AM THIS MORNING. FLOOD STAGE IS 9 FEET.

AT 2 AM EDT THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE EAST OF BUCKS COUNTY
AND ONLY MINOR AMOUNTS OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED FOR THE
REMAINDER OF TONIGHT.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA PRONE TO FLOODING...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND
IMMEDIATELY...BEFORE YOUR ACCESS IS CUT OFF BY RISING FLOOD WATERS.
CONTINUE TO MONITOR NOAA WEATHER RADIO...AND YOUR LOCAL RADIO AND
TELEVISION STATIONS FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION ON THE FLOOD WARNING.
