THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  300 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN  NEW JERSEY
 
   ...NORTHERN HUNTERDON COUNTY
 
AT 100 AM EDT...VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS HAD PRODUCED RAINS OF AT LEAST
THREE INCHES OVER NORTHERN HUNTERDON COUNTY. THE HEAVY RAINS HAVE CAUSED
THE SOUTH BRIDGE RIVER TO OVERFLOW ITS BANKS IN LEBANON TOWNSHIP NEAR
CALIFON. A HOME FOUNDATION IS REPORTED TO HAVE COLLAPSED EARLIER THIS
EVENING. RADAR INDCATES MORE HEAVY RAINS ARE POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT
COUPLE OF HOURS.
 
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED AREAS.  THE DEPTH OF THE
WATER MAY BE HIGHER THAN YOU THINK.  RAPIDLY RISING WATERS CAN
QUICKLY ENGULF YOUR VEHICLE AND ITS OCCUPANTS...WASHING THEM AWAY.
REMEMBER...MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
