000 TTAA00 KMSP 130518 FFWMSP WIC033-091-093-130815- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN 1216 AM CDT SUN AUG 13 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN ...SOUTHERN DUNN COUNTY...PEPIN COUNTY...PIERCE COUNTY AT 1210 AM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT TORRENTIAL RAINS CONTINUED TO FALL FROM ELLSWORTH TO JUST SOUTH OF MENOMONIE. RAINFALL ESTIMATES FROM THE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATE THAT APPROXIMATELY 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SINCE 9 PM. FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS IS LIKELY. SOME ROADWAYS ARE LIKELY COVERED WITH WATER SEVERAL INCHES DEEP. RESIDENTS ALONG THE RUSH RIVER NEAR EL PASO AND MARTELL...AND ALONG THE RED CEDAR RIVER NEAR DOWNSVILLE SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND SHOULD FLASH FLOODING OCCUR. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS ROADWAYS COVERED WITH FLOWING WATER. RADAR INDICATES THAT HEAVY RAINS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 1 AM IN THE WARNED AREA. MJM
