THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...GREENE COUNTY...PERRY COUNTY
 
AT 1106 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED FROM RICHTON IN PERRY COUNTY EXTENDING
SOUTHWEST TO STATE HIGHWAY 29 IN PERRY COUNTY.  MOVEMENT WAS TO THE
EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.  THESE STORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO GREENE
COUNTY BY 1110 AM.
 
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
