THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  415 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA

   ...SANTA ROSA COUNTY

AT 105 AM CST VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING OVER CENTRAL SANTA ROSA
COUNTY...MOSTLY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM CHUMUCKLA TO MUNSON. DOPPLER RADAR
ESTIMATES THAT AROUND 8 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THAT AREA SINCE THE
RAIN BEGAN WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. AN ADDITONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL IS
EXPECTED BEFORE DAYBREAK AS THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO DEVELOP NEAR THE
COAST AND MOVE NORT

SANTA ROSA EOC REPORTED AT 100 AM WATER IN SOME HOMES AND MANY ROADS
FLOODED IN THE PACE AND MILTON AREA.  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL ONLY
AGGRAVATE THE SITUATION.


DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
RO:ADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
