FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS
 
   ...NORTHERN JASPER COUNTY...NORTHERN NEWTON COUNTY
   ...TYLER COUNTY
 
AT 940 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR CONTINUED TO
SHOW VERY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS TYLER...NORTHERN JASPER AND
NORTHERN NEWTON COUNTIES. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT
3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA
THIS EVENING. AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN IS
POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
