THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS
      EXTREME NORTHWEST VERMILION

A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS OBSERVED AT 443 PM CDT 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF
DANVILLE...NEAR RANKIN.  THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 10 MPH.

TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY IN A BASEMENT OR INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR.  ABANDON MOBILE HOMES AND VEHICLES FOR SAFER SHELTER.
