FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  915 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH OHIO
 
   ...SCIOTO COUNTY
 
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS IN SCIOTO COUNTY REPORTED WATER WAS BEGINNING
TO POND ON U.S. HIGHWAY 52 IN SOUTHERN SCIOTO COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR
INDICATED WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DROPPING HEAVY RAINS WILL
PERSIST ACROSS SCIOTO COUNTY THROUGH 830 AM...WHICH WILL INCREASE THE
THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING.
 
DOPPLER RADAR PRECIPITATION ESTIMATES SHOW THAT OVER TWO AND ONE-HALF
INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN OVER NORTHERN SCIOTO COUNTY.
 
NEVER DRIVE YOUR CAR INTO A FLOODED ROADWAY. YOU CAN EASILY
BECOME STRANDED OR TRAPPED. THE DEPTH OF WATER IS NOT ALWAYS
OBVIOUS. IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT THE ROAD CONDITION OR THE WATER
