SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  245 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......

   ...SOUTHERN PENOBSCOT COUNTY
 
AT 135 PM DOPPLER RADAR WAS DETECTING A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON THE
BORDER OF PENOBSCOT AND WALDO COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST
NORTHEAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH AND WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN PENOBSCOT COUNTY OVER
THE NEXT HOUR...REACHING NEAR CARMEL BY 2 PM AND WILL BE NEAR BANGOR
BETWEEN 230 AND 300 OCLOCK.
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
