THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST WISCONSIN
 
   ...SOUTHERN FLORENCE COUNTY...SOUTHEASTERN FOREST COUNTY
   ...LANGLADE COUNTY
 
AT 720 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR
ARGONNE...WHICH IS ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF CRANDON. THE STORM WAS MOVING
EAST AT 25 MPH TOWARD CAVOUR.
 
OTHER SEVERE STORMS WERE LOCATED ABOUT 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF
MERRILL...AND WILL MOVE INTO LANGLADE COUNTY NEAR DEERBROOK.
 
HAIL UP TO AN INCH IN DIAMETER AND STRONG WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THE
STORMS.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO
ADVANCE WARNING.  IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE...MOVE TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER.  IF INDOORS...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.
