THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MACON GA HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL GEORGIA
 
   ...TWIGGS COUNTY...WILKINSON COUNTY
 
AT 1110 PM MACON RADAR SHOWED A LARGE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES SOUTH
OF JEFFERSONVILLE IN TWIGGS COUNTY AND MOVING NORTHEAST 35 MILES AN
HOUR. THIS STORM HAS STRONG WINDS ABOVE 5O MILES AN HOUR AND HAS CAUSED
FLOODING OF LOW AREAS IN NORTHERN BLECKLEY COUNTY ON ITS WAY INTO
SOUTHERN TWIGGS COUNTY.
 
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE PAST JEFFERSONVILLE BY 1130 PM AND TO
JUST SOUTH OF GORDON BY MIDNIGHT.
 
AVOID THIS VERY LARGE DANGEROUS STORM.  DONT DRIVE INTO LOW LYING AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING.  AT NIGHT YOU MIGHT DRIVE SUDDENLY UP TO DOWNED
TREES OR LARGE TREE LIMBS OR DOWNED STILL LIVE POWER LINES SO ITS BEST TAVOID DRIVING ANYWHERE NEAR THIS STORM OR OTHER STORMS THAT MAY MOVE
THROUGH YOUR AREA TONIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.  WAIT THEM OUT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES

RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
