FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE AREA THIS MORNING AS THE
REMAINS OF HURRICANE OPAL MOVE OVER NORTHWEST GEORGIA EARLY TODAY.
THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND FLOOD
PRONE AREAS. RESIDENTS WHO LIVE DOWNSTRAM OF EARTHEN DAMS SHOULD ALSO
BE CAUTIOUS AND BE PREPARED TO EVACUATE IF NECESSARY.
 
 
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
