THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  200 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

   ...CALDWELL COUNTY...HAYS COUNTY

AT 1 AM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING INTO CALDWELL COUNTY AND WERE
PRODUCING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MILES PER HOUR AS RECORDED BY THE
FORECAST OFFICE IN NEW BRAUNFELS. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT
30 MILES PER HOUR.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND AROUND 60 MPH OR
HIGHER...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY |RAIN. SLOW DOWN
OR MOVE COMPLETELY OFF ROADWAYS IN HEAVY RAINS. BRIEF LOCALIZED
FLOODING ACCOMPANY MANY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
