IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...NORTHERN ATASCOSA COUNTY...SOUTHERN BEXAR COUNTY ...SOUTHEASTERN MEDINA COUNTY AT 12 MIDNIGHT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE MEDINA-ATASCOSA-BEXAR COUNTY LINE. MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE EAST AT 30 MPH. GOLF-BALL SIZED HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THIS STORM DURING THE PAST HALF HOUR NEAR THE BEXAR-ATASCOSA COUNTY LINE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE. PEOPLE IN THE PAFTH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.
