SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  845 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTH CENTRAL MICHIGAN

   ...OGEMAW COUNTY

AT 749 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES
NORTH OF THE VILLAGE OF PRESCOTT IN SOUTHEAST OGEMAW COUNTY. THIS
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING TO THE NORTHWEST AT 20 MPH AND WILL
MOE BETWEEN THE TOWNS OF WEST BRANCH AND ROSE CITY BY 820 PM.

PERSONS IN PRESCOTT...WEST BRANC AND ROSCE CITY AND THE SURROUNDING
AREAS SHOULD SEEK SHELTER INDOORS IMMEDIATELY. GO TO AN INTERIOR
ROOM IN YOUR HOME SUCH AS A BATHROOM. STAY OFF THE TELEPHONE EXCEPT
DURING AN EMERGENCY.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PRE'PARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
