AT 945 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE CENTER OF A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
LOCATED 20 MILES ESAT OF DODGE CITY...OR ABOUT 5 MILES NORTHEAST OF
FORD. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL PASS
ACROSS MAINLY OPEN AREAS BUT ALSO NEAR WINDTHORST BY 955 PM.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE TO A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
