SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......

   ...CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY

AND ADJACENT WATERS OF THE GREAT LAKES


AT 1053 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR FROM BUFFALO SHOWED A
LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED FROM JUST EAST OF LONG POINT
CANADA TO EAST OF ERIE PENNSYLVANIA.

THE LINE OF STORMS WAS MOVING RAPIDLY TO THE EAST AT 45 MPH.

THE STORMS WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHORTLY AFTER 11 PM
...AND TO NEAR JAMESTOWN AND DUNKIRK AROUND 1130 PM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHzELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
