SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 AM EDT

A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS FROM SOUTHERN ADDISON COUNTY NEAR
SHOREHAM TO NEAR CASTLETON IN RUTLAND COUNTY AT 10 AM. THESE STORMS
WERE MOVING EAST-NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL CROSS ROUTE 7 SHORTLY
AFTER 10 AM AFFECTING THE COMMUNTIES SOUTH OF MIDDLEBURY TO RUTLAND.
 
EARLIER IN THE MORNING...ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED STRONG
WINDS ALONG ROUTE 125 NEAR RIPTON DOWNING SOME TREES.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY
HEAVY RAIN...AND FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE
AND CAN NOT FIND REFUGE IN A STURDY INDOOR SHELTER...CROUCH DOWN IN A
DITCH OR LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS. STAY AWAY FROM
