SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  300 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL CONNECTICUT
 
   ...HARTFORD COUNTY
 
AT 145 PM WEATHER RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING ACROSS
LITCHFIELD COUNTY. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH AND HAS
HAD A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIND GUSTS TO 80 MPH.  WIND DAMAGE WAS
REPORTED IN CORNWALL WITH TREES AND POWERLINES DOWNED WITHIN THE PAST 15
MINUTES.
 
THIS STORM WILL BE MOVING INTO HARTFORD COUNTY BETWEEN 2 PM AND 215 PM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO
