TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  115 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA
 
   ...NORTHERN IREDELL COUNTY
 
AT 1257 PM EDT THE IREDELL COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED A POSSIBLE TORNADO
TOUCHDOWN...WITH DAMAGE TO A WAREHOUSE...IN UNION GROVE IN THE NORTHERN
PART OF THE COUNTY.
 
THE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING THIS TORNADO WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST
AT 30 MPH.
 
TORNADOES WHICH OCCUR AFTER DARK ARE ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS. GET TO A
PLACE OF SAFETY NOW. STAY AWAY FROM DOORS AND WINDOWS. GET OUT OF
MOBILE HOMES AND CARS. IF DAMAGE OCCURS NEAR YOU...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
WALK AROUND IN THE DARK. THERE MAY BE DOWNED POWER LINES AND OTHER
