SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  230 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY......
 
IN CENTRAL OHIO

AT 125 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE FRANKLIN/MADISON COUNTY BORDER BETWEEN WEST
JEFFERSON AND GALLOWAY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING RAPIDLY NORTHEAST AT 50
MILES AN HOUR...AND WILL MOVE ACROSS THE COLUMBUS METRO AREA.
 
SEVERE WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MILES AN HOUR
WITH THIS STORM AS IT PASSED JUST SOUTH OF WEST JEFFERSON IN EASTERN
MADISON COUNTY.
 
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. " REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
