THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PUEBLO HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......
 
IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO
 
   ...EASTERN KIOWA COUNTY...INCLUDING SHERIDAN LAKE...BRANDON...TOWNER
                              AND STUART.
 
AT 854 PM MDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 25 MILES NORTH-NORTHWEST
OF SHERIDAN LAKE. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTH-SOUTHEAST AT AROUND 50 MILES
AN HOUR. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING BASEBALL SIZE
HAIL.
 
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
