THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH NEW JERSEY

   ...SALEM COUNTY

AT 650 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM
MOVING EAST ACROSS NORTHERN DELAWARE. THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE
EAST THROUGH SALEM COUNTY NEW JERSEY BETWEEN 700 AND 745 PM.  THIS
THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL OVER 1 INCH IN
DIAMETER AS IT MOVED THROUGH NORTHERN MARYLAND EARLIER IN THE
EVENING.

THIS THUNDERSTORM MAY PRODUCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH AND HAIL
AS IT MOVES THROUGH THE COUNTY.  THIS THUNDERSTORM IS PART OF
A NORTH-SOUTH LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WHICH MAY ALSO
CAUSE GUSTY WINDS AND BRIEFLY HEAVY RAINS.



THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA...PREPARE
FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING.  SHOULD THE STORM APPROACH YOU...SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER
INDOORS...BUT DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  MOBILE HOMES ARE MOST
VULNERABLE TO HIGH WINDS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
