FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST MARYLAND
 
   ...EAST HARFORD COUNTY
 
   ...CECIL COUNTY
 
WEATHER RADAR WAS SHOWING VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER EASTERN HARFORD COUNTY...
JUST TO THE EAST OF THE JOPPATOWN AREA AND IT EXTENDED NORTHEAST. UP TO
2.5 INCHES COULD FALL IN AN HOUR. THIS WILL CAUSE WATER TO RAPIDLY COLLE
 ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS.
 
THE STORMS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE NORTHEAST ABOUT 15 MPH AND COULD
MOVE INTO SOUTHERN CECIL COUNTY BY 830 PM.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
