THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL NEW JERSEY
 
   ...MERCER COUNTY
 
AT 440 AM...THE ASSUNPINK CREEK HAD RISEN TO 6 1/2 FEET WITH A
FLOOD STAGE OF 7 FEET. AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN IN EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA
WILL MOVE EAST INTO MERCER COUNTY THIS MORNING. THE ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
ALONG WITH SATURATED GROUND CONDITIONS SHOULD CAUSE THE CREEK TO
OVERFLOW ITS BANKS BY 6 AM THIS MORNING.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED COUNTY IN AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
CLIMBING ATOP YOUR STALLED VEHICLE WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM
BEING SWEPT INTO DANGEROUS STREAM CONDITIONS AS WATER LEVELS RISE.
