FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL NEW JERSEY

A FLOOD WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ASSUNPINK RIVER IN MERCER COUNTY
UNTIL 7 AM EST.  AT 140 AM EST THE RIVER GAGE WAS READING 6.74 FT.
THE RIVER HAS RISEN 3 FEET SINCE 7 PM DUE TO AN ICE JAM.  IT IS
QUITE POSSIBLE THAT THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO RISE UNTIL THE ICE
BECOMES FREE.  THE ASSUNPINK MIGHT RISE TO BETWEEN 7 AND 8 FEET.
PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE RIVER ARE ADVISED TO TAKE THE NECESSARY
PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT PROPERTY DAMAGE.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED COUNTY IN AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
CLIMBING ATOP YOUR STzALLED VEHICLE WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM
BEING SWEPT INTO DANGEROUS STREAM CONDITIONS AS WATER LEVELS RISE.
