THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MINNEAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA
 
   ...SIBLEY COUNTY
 
AT 745 PM...THE PUBLIC REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE GROUND NEAR WINTHROP IN
SIBLEY COUNTY...APPROXIMATELY 15 MILES NORTH OF NEW ULM. THIS STORM WAS
MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.
 
TOWNS IN THE PATH INCLUDE GAYLORD...NEW ROME AND RUSH RIVER.
 
HEAD FOR THE BASEMENT NOW!  DON'T GO OUTSIDE TO LOOK FOR THE
TORNADO...IT COULD BE BEARING DOWN ON YOUR LOC&ATION.  GET UNDER
SOME STURDY FURNITURE...OR UNDERNEATH A STAIRWAY TO AVOID
WIND BLOWN DEBRIS.  MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED.
