FLASH FLOOD WARNING       EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN
 
   ...PEPIN COUNTY
 
THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORRENTIAL RAINS HAVE BEEN OCCURING OVER PEPIN COUNTY
SINCE ABOUT 1 AM. A REPORT OF FLOODED STREETS AND MAN HOLE COVERS BEING
BLOWN OFF IN THE CITY OF DURAND WAS RECEIVED AT 225 AM.
 
IT APPEARS THAT TORRENTIAL RAINS WILL REMAIN OVER THE AREA THROUGH 330
AM.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARD TO SEE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING.  MANY DEATHS OCCUR AT NIGHT WHEN PEOPLE TRY
TO CROSS FLOWING STREAMS.  THE WATER MAY BE MUCH DEEPER THAN YOU
REALIZE...OR THE WATER MAY HAVE UNDERMINED THE ROAD.
