000 TTAA00 KPBI 161416 TORPBI FLC099-161445- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WEST PALM BEACH FL 916 AM EST WED NOV 16 1994 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WEST PALM BEACH HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 AM EST FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...... IN SOUTH FLORIDA ...SOUTHEASTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST AT 905 AM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH EASTERN PALM BEACH COUNTY. A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS DETECTED ON RADAR JUST NORTH OF DELRAY BEACH. RESIDENTS LIVING BETWEEN DELRAY BEACH AND BOYNTON BEACH SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. BOATERS ON THE PALM BEACH COUNTY COASTAL WATERS FROM BOYNTON BEACH TO LAKE WORTH SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR THIS STORM DURING THE NEXT 30 MINUTES. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EASTNORTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
