THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS
 
   ...RANDOLPH COUNTY
 
AT 535 AM...A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS IS MOVING INTO SOUTHWEST
ILLINOIS. IT EXTENDED FROM THE ST LOUIS AREA TO NEAR FARMINGTON AND WILL
PUSH INTO RANDOLPH COUNTY ILLINOIS BETWEEN 545 AND 600 AM. THESE STORMS
HAVE PRODUCE WIND DAMAGE AND LARGE HAIL...EVEN POSSIBLE TORNADOES.
MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 35 TO 40 MILES AN HOUR. THE COMMUNITIES OF PRAIRIE
DU ROCHER...RED BUD AND WALSH ARE IN THE PATH OF THESE STORMS.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
