OVER SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN HAVE
PERSISTED ACROSS THESE AREAS SINCE LAST NIGHT AND RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
OVER 5 INCHES HAVE BEEN REPORTED AT MANY LOCATIONS. WIDESPREAD FLOODING
OF STREETS AND LOW LYING AREAS IS EXPECTED. WATER WAS ALSO REPORTED IN
SEVERAL HOMES IN WARREN COUNTY THIS EVENING.
 
 
AT NIGHT BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE SWIFTLY TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
