FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 800 AM CDT  FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...ERATH COUNTY...HAMILTON COUNTY...PARKER COUNTY...WISE COUNTY
 
AT 457 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
CONTINUED ACROSS THE CENTRAL PORTIONS OF NORTH TEXAS...GENERALLY IN A
50 MILE WIDE LINE FROM WICHITA FALLS TO WACO. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE
PRODUCING MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS OVER RAIN-SOAKED GROUNDS...WITH
NUMEROUS ROADS CLOSED IN THE LOW-LYING AREAS.
 
MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A
