000 TTAA00 KATL 280001 TORATL GAC115-233-280030- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ATLANTA GA 658 PM EST SUN MAR 27 1994 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ATLANTA HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...FLOYD COUNTY...POLK COUNTY AT 700 PM EST WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF CAVE SPRINGS GEORGIA. A TORNADO HAD BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS STORM IN EAST ALABAMA. THE STORM IS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. THIS WILL TAKE IT SOUTH OF ROME. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS.
