TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  645 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...CALDWELL COUNTY
 
AT 605 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH A POSSSIBLE TORNADO WAS JUST SOUTH
OF SAN MARCOS AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. THIS STORM WAS ENTERING
CALDWELL COUNTY AND WILL REACH LOCKHART BY 645 PM CDT.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR
ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET OR BATHROOM...ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. AVOID
WINDOWS AND PROTECT YOUR BODY FROM FLYING DEBRIS WITH CUSHIONS...
BLANKETS...OR PILLOWS.
 
IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE OR IN YOUR CAR...DO NOT TRY TO OUTRUN A
TORNADO.  CARS ARE EASILY TOSSED AROUND BY TORNADO WINDS.
LEAVE THE CAR...GO TO A STRONG BUILDING.  IF NO STRUCTURE
IS NEARBY...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE
IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND
MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR
CULVERT. CURL UP AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR ARMS.
