FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

THE LITTLE PLATTE RIVER AT SMITHVILLE IS EXPECTED TO EXCEED ITS FLOOD
STAGE OF 24 FEET BETWEEN 3 AND 4 AM. AT 230 AM THE STAGE WAS 23 FEET AND
RISING AT A RATE OF 2 FEET PER HOUR. CREST FORECAST OF 27 FEET IS
EXPECTED BASED ON RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2.5 AND 3 INCHES WHICH HAVE
OCCURRED OVER THE PAST 12 TO 18 HOURS.
