FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......

...CAYUGA COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTS THAT SEVERAL ROADS ARE
FLOODED ACROSS SOUTHERN CAYUGA COUNTY...
 
IN LOCKE...NUMEROUS STREAMS ARE OUT OF THEIR BANKS FLOODING ROADS AND
HOMES. FLOODING IS REPORTED ON ROUTE 90 EAST AND WEST...CREEK ROAD...AND
ON HARRIS ROAD. ALSO...TREES HAVE BEEN WASHED OUT AND FALLEN INTO THE
STREAMBEDS CAUSING ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS.
 
FLOODING IS ALSO REPORTED ON MAIN STREET IN MORAVIA.
 
IF YOU WILL BE OUT DRIVING THIS MORNING...LEAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO REACH
YOUR DESTINATION. WATCH FOR PONDING ON THE ROAD WHICH COULD CAUSE YOU TO
LOSE CONTROL OF YOUR CAR.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  NEVER TRY TO
CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE ON FOOT.
