THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN...

CASS COUNTY

AT 925 PM EDT...A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING THROUGH
CASS COUNTY.  THE STORMS EXTENDED FROM SOUTH OF MARCELLUS...THROUGH
CASSOPOLIS...TO NEAR NILES.  BETWEEN 830 PM AND 920 PM...THE NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE RECEIVED NUMEROUS REPORTS FROM CASS COUNTY OF
HIGH WINDS AN TREES DOWN.

THESE STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.  THEY MOVE
THROUGH JONES...ADAMSVILLE...AND UNION BY 1000 PM.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
