000 TTAA00 KATL 220208 TORATL GAC057-067-220300- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ATLANTA GA 906 PM EST SUN FEB 21 1993 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ATLANTA HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA ...CHEROKEE COUNTY...COBB COUNTY RADAR INDICATED A COUPLE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH POSSIBLE TORNADOES. ONE STORM WAS IN PAULDING COUNTY EAST OF DALLAS...MOVING INTO COBB COUNTY. ANOTHER STORM WAS IN CHEROKEE COUNTY NEAR CANTON. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT AROUND 55 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTdER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
