TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 340 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......

IN WESTERN NEW YORK

   ...NORTHERN ERIE...NIAGARA...GENESEE...

AT 230 PM...STATE POLICE AND THE PUBLIC REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD AND A
BRIEF TOUCHDOWN OF A TORNADO AT GRAND ISLAND...12 MILES NORTH OF
BUFFALO.  THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

PERSONS IN THESE COUNTIES SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY...PERFERABLY
IN A BASEMENT OR LOWEST LEVEL IN YOUR HOUSE...IN AN INTERIOR ROOM.
STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT TRY TO ESCAPE THIS STORM IN AN
