THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING   EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE
 
   ...TEXAS COUNTY
 
AT 1008 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
INTENSE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH THE COUNTY. RADAR SUGGESTS
THAT MORE THAN 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN ONE HOUR OVER THE WESTERN
PART OF THE AREA. THE SHERIFFS OFFICE IN GUYMON HAS REPORTED FLOODING
STREETS ARE UNDER WATER AT GOODWELL AND TEXOMA. WATER WAS FLOWING ACROSS
THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAYS 95 AND 64. THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS
MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR...AND WILL LIKELY AFFECT THE
REMAINDER OF THE COUNTY DURING THE NEXT HOUR.
