SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK
 
   ...SULLIVAN COUNTY
 
AT 420 PM RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 25 MILES WEST OF
MONTICELLO IN NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA. IT WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. AT
450 PM IT WILL BE 15 MILES WEST OF MONTICELLO...NEAR THE TOWN OF OF
FOSTERDALE. THIS STORM HAS PRODUCED WINDS OF 60 MPH.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
