THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF COLORADO
      NORTHEAST BACA...SOUTHERN PROWERS

 THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TOWNS AND CITIES...LYCAN AND
 BARTLETT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE FIVE MILES SOUTH OF LYCAN...THIS ONE
HAD A TORNADO REPORTED EARLIER AND A SECOND 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF
TWO BUTTES RADAR INCICATES HAIL AND VERY HEAVY RAINS. STORMS WERE
MOVING EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  ONCE
INSIDE...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO
A PLACE OF SAFETY WITHOUT DELAY IF A TORNADO IS SPOTTED.
