SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH NEW JERSEY
 
   ...BURLINGTON COUNTY...CAMDEN COUNTY...GLOUCESTER COUNTY
 
 
A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS OVER BUCKS...MONTGOMERY...AND
DELAWARE COUNTIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AND MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH INTO
PHILADELPHIA COUNTY. THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL REPORTS OF DOWNED
TREES AND WIRES WITH THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN CHESTER...MONTGOMERY...
AND DELAWARE COUNTIES. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO SOUTHERN
NEW JERSEY WITH POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL.
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA...PREPARE
FOR STRONG DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING.  SHOULD THE STORM APPROACH YOU...SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER
INDOORS...BUT DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS.  MOBILE HOMES ARE MOST
VULNERABLE TO HIGH WINDS AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
 
A TORNADO WATCH CONTINUES FOR SOUTHEASTERN
PENNSYLVANIA AND SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY UNTIL 3 PM EST.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCED WARNING.
 
HEAVY RAINS WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
STREAMS AND UNDERPASSES VERY QUICKLY.  DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.  THE WATER MAY BE DEEPER
THAN YOU THINK.  IF CAUGHT IN RISING WATERS...ABANDON YOUR CAR
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
