FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH NEW JERSEY
 
   ...CAMDEN COUNTY
 
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR
THE COOPER RIVER AT HADDONFIELD IN CAMDEN COUNTY.
 
AT 815 PM EDT THE COOPER RIVER WAS READING 2.78 FT...FLOOD STAGE
IS 2.80 FT. THE COOPER RIVER COULD REACH 3 AND ONE HALF FEET THIS
EVENING.
 
RAINFALLS AMOUNTS ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY INCUDING
CAMDEN COUNTY IN THE VICINTY OF HADDONFIELD HAVE BEEN ANYWHERE
FROM 11/2 TO 3 INCHES. ADDITIONAL RAIN IS LIKELY FOR THE NEXT
COUPLE OF HOURS.
 
AT 815 PM RADAR SHOWED SOME OF THE HEAVIER SHOWERS OVER SECTIONS
OF CAMDEN AND SALEM COUNTIES MOVING SLOWLY NORTH. RADAR ALSO
SHOWED ANOTHER NARROW BAND OF HEAVY SHOWERS ALONG THE MARYLAND
DELAWARE BORDER WHICH MAY ALSO MOVE INTO SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY OVER
THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED COUNTY IN AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
CLIMBING ATOP YOUR STALLED VEHICLE WILL NOT PREVENT YOU
FROM BEING SWEPT INTO DANGEROUS STREAM CONDITIONIS AS WATER
