THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  415 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH NEW JERSEY
 
   ...BURLINGTON COUNTY
 
RAINS OF OVER 5 INCHES SINCE LATE THURSDAY HAVE FALLEN OVER THE RANCOCAS
CREEK BASIN IN BURLINGTON COUNTY. THESE RAINS HAVE FINALLY BEGUN TO
REACH THE RANCOCAS AND OVER THE PAST FEW HOURS THE CREEK AT THE
PEMBERTON GAGE HAS TURNED AROUND AND STARTED RISING AGAIN. AT 6 AM
THE GAGE READING WAS 2.91 FEET. FLOOD STAGE AT THE GAGE IS 2.7 FEET.
THE CREEK SHOULD CONTINUE TO RISE THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS TO A STAGE
NEAR 3.25 FEET AND REMAIN THERE MOST OF TODAY.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED COUNTY IN AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
CLIMBING ATOP YOUR STALLED VEHICLE WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM
BEING SWEPT INTO DANGEROUS STREAM CONDITIONS AS WATER LEVELS RISE.
