000 TTAA00 KSTC 022205 TORSTC MNC067-093-022230- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST CLOUD MINNESOTA 505 PM CDT WED SEP 2 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST CLOUD MINNESOTA HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA ...SOUTHEASTERN KANDIYOHI COUNTY...SOUTHWESTERN MEEKER COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITIES OF LITCHFIELD...CEDAR MILLS...COSMOS AND LAKE LILLIAN. AT 500 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR ATWATER WHICH IS 10 MILES EAST OF WILLMAR. TREES WERE REPORTED DOWN AT 500 PM NEAR KANDIYOHI WHICH IS 5 MILES EAST OF WILLMAR. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH AND WILL AFFECT LITCHFIELD BY 515 PM AND COSMOS AND LAKE LILLIAN BY 530 PM. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED BUILDING. AS A LAST RESORT...SEEK SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS. NNNN
