SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
 
   ...BIG STONE COUNTY
 
CITIES INCLUDED IN THE WARNING ARE BEARDSLEY...BARRY...AND
ORTONVILLE.
 
AT 930 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AT FARGO INDICATED
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL 2 MILES
NORTH OF BEARDSLEY WHICH IS 65 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ALEXANDRIA IN
NEAR THE SOUTH DAKOTA-MINNESOTA BORDER.
 
THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THE
THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE THROUGH THE CITY OF ORTONVILLE AROUND
10 PM CDT.
 
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TOeRNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
